St. Francis Regional Medical Center

Emergency Department provides 24/7 in-person mental health and substance abuse crisis assessments in a secure, trauma-informed environment. Telehealth assessments may also be available through Allina Health.

Mayo Clinic Health System

Provides therapy, psychiatry, and recovery services for all ages. Support includes treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health and substance use concerns.

Southern Vally Alliance – Domesticve Abuse Services

Confidential support, safety planning, and resources for individuals experiencing domestic violence in Scott and Carver Counties. Support is also available for friends and loved ones seeking guidance.

Sexual Violence Center

Free, confidential services including emotional support, advocacy, safety planning, and resources for anyone impacted by sexual violence. Survivors are always believed and never alone.

Scott County Guild Crisis and Recovery Center
Guild provides trauma-informed mental health and housing services throughout Scott County. Services are person-centered and focused on reducing stigma, supporting recovery, and addressing homelessness and crisis needs.

Scott County Mental Health Center

Offers therapy, crisis services, diagnostic assessments, and psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. DBT and group therapy also available. Insurance, MA, Medicare accepted; sliding fee available.

Family Resource Centers
Multiple locations across Scott County offer help completing applications, accessing services, and connecting with community resources. Free family events, parenting support, and culturally specific services for Latino and Somali families. All services are free and confidential. 

CAP Agency
CAP Agency strengthens stability and self-sufficiency by offering food assistance, housing resources, Early Head Start, energy assistance, crisis nursery, senior nutrition, and seasonal supports like Hope for the Holidays and Adopt-A-Family.

The Anchor Center is a community support program offering social, educational, and recreational opportunities for Scott County adults (18+) with mental health needs.

Support for Adults Living with Mental Illness
NAMI MN Resources

NAMI Connection
Peer-led support groups for adults (18+) living with mental illness. Typically meets weekly or biweekly for 90 minutes. Facilitated by individuals with lived experience.

Young Adult NAMI Connection
Peer support groups for ages 16–20 or 18–30 (depending on the group). Facilitated by young adults in recovery.

LGBTQ+ NAMI Connection
Weekly support groups for LGBTQ+ adults living with mental illness. Provides identity-affirming, safe space to connect with peers.

BIPOC NAMI Connection
Support groups for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color living with mental illness. Culturally responsive and peer-led.

Dual Diagnosis Support Groups
Support for adults managing both mental illness and substance use. Facilitators have experience with dual diagnosis.

Open Door Anxiety & Panic Support Groups
Support groups based on Embracing the Fear, for adults experiencing anxiety or panic. Meets weekly for 90 minutes.

Support for Family Members and Caregivers

Peer-led support for adults supporting loved ones with mental health conditions. Focus on shared experiences and healthy coping.

Dedicated space for spouses, partners, and significant others of individuals with mental health conditions.

NAMI Connection Support Groups – Online
NAMI MN Resources

NAMI Connection Support Groups are free, peer-led support groups for adults (18+) living with a mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences. The groups are led by trained leaders with lived experience. Meetings are 90 minutes long. Most online groups meet on HeyPeers.
